Instructions for Video Conference Participation

 In accordance with Public Act 228 of 2020, which provides that public bodies subject to the Open Meetings Act can use telephone and/or video conferencing technology to meet and conduct business in certain situations, the New Buffalo City Council and Planning Commission will conduct a special joint workshop meeting to discuss the short-term rental ordinance on Wednesday, March 17, 2021 at 7:00 p.m. via Zoom Conference, for the purpose of necessary business while complying with the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services’ recommendations designed to help prevent the spread of Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19). Public Participation

 

The public will be able to listen to all discussion during the meeting, and all official materials for this meeting will be included in the meeting packet and available to the public on the website. Individuals will be permitted to speak for up to 3 minutes during the public comment sections of the agenda, which will be at the beginning of the meeting. The Mayor will facilitate the public comment periods.

 

The public may comment for up to three minutes. Those wishing to make public comments will need to raise their hands or submit written comments to afidler@cityofnewbuffalomi.gov.
